Foodies are losing it over new $6.50 Old El Paso taco MELT kits

Hundreds of foodies around Australia are obsessing over the new Old El Paso melt kits that have launched in Coles supermarkets.

Mum Flick noticed the $6.50 buy on store shelves and opted to give it a try for an easy family dinner.

Unlike a burrito or taco, the tortilla wraps in the melt kit are large and can be filled with a larger quantity of food.

Each kit contains six extra soft tortilla wraps to be stuffed with the filling of choice then grilled – in this case Flick used chicken, avocado, cream cheese, spinach and red onion.

‘Tried these with the kids last week!Beautiful,’ Flick wrote online.

‘Coles had the taco kit on special for $5, avocado for $1.50, cream cheese $4 and spinach $2, red onion 50c, chicken $5 for 600g.’

She said the quick and easy meal was ‘very filling’ and fed a total of six people.
